We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes. What Information do we collect when users interact with Cloe?

We start saving the public unique identifier (short: ID) of a Discord server as soon as a permitted user changes any configurable server-related setting (for example the prefix that is used to command Cloe) to further guarantee data persistence of the said changed setting. Furthermore, when using user-specific features like afk command the public ID of the related user will be saved to be able to assign the data to that specific user. In case of evidence of users or servers abusing our service, we will take action by saving the users public ID to be able to exclude said users or servers. For the login at auth.cloe.gg we save your access_token until the service end.

How Long do we store the above mentioned informations?

Since we are offering highly persistent data deletion only happens when a permitted user resets guild-related settings.

When do I agree to this Policy?

By using our service (Cloe the Discord bot & (*.)cloe.gg/* our Website) you agree to the above-stated policy. Non-agreement forces you to not use our provided service.

What do we do with your messages?

First of all, we don't really do much with it also nothing permanent.
For the tickets module we save the messages for 30 days in the transcripts if enabled.
For auto moderation we only scan your content and don't save them.
For logs the message only get saved in the log embed in discord not in our system.
(Thread deletion / message bulk deletion logs save messages for 12 days)
For the counting module we also only scan the input if it includes a number.
For the chat-bot module we share your message content without any context with our chat-bot provider (openai.com and huggingface.com).
For the transcript action in message actions we save the last 100 messages in the transcript for 14 days.
Any other modules don't do anything with your messages!
